On my upcoming trip to CR, I will be spending a couple of days outside the "the belly of the beast". I am going to be headed over to the Guanacaste area. Probably from around Tamarindo to Samara. I have never been to this part of CR but have heard it has some of the best beaches in the country.

My question is I do not want to buy in well developed area but would like to buy in an up and coming part of that coast.
Does anyone have any suggestion where I could look?
