I am going to the hotel del rey for a weekend coming up. I am nervous that I am going to get mugged. I am nervous because it is my first time in San Jose. And I am nervous because I have never had a session before. |

Read this a couple of time and follow it like it was the bible, because it is. If you do unless you are a complete idiot should be able to enjoy yourself tremendously. Good Luck. http://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16357 |

make it to sportsmans your first day and take taxis until you are comfortable. above all do not betray your feelings and let others read you in a strange country. wear sunglasses and act like you know what you are doing even though you dont. shake you head and say no to all who approach you. maintain. its gonna be a lot of fun. when do you go? |

http://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16357 Agreed 100%. Please do yourself a favor and read that post that J0sie gave you over and over. Read it until you can quote it by verse. I spent my first mongering trip there last week, and stuff that I was warned about happened exactly as CRT said it would. I kept my wits about me and I was fine. |

Really good advice but perhaps Orange should edit it and take out the Hotel Presidente as a monger and chica-friendly hotel? |

Hook up with a wingman or two. Check the roll calls section of this site or go to the SL. Above all relax and have fun, don't let the "scene" at the Del Rey overwhelm you. oh yea - read read read. |

Right. As long as you dont get mugged by the shoe shine guy or the "official" RayBan dealer crossing the road, you'll be fine. ![]() ![]() ![]() On a serious note, I hope you do get out of the DR at least in the day time. It would be such a shame for you to be stuck in there all day. |

If you really are not going to leave the HDR - then your only worry will be the girls. Lock up your valuables in the safe, keep everything else locked in your luggage, and read the site about negotiating with the girls. Really, you will be fine - enjoy!! |

Post subject: | take this advice |
If this is your first session, take your time and pick a tica with a really nice smile and personality! Some of the ticas are a nightmare so take plenty of time and don't let johnson make the decision. |

maintain. its gonna be a lot of fun. when do you go? Great advice. If you aren't traveling with a wingman in the know, the second best thing would be to go to the SL and make a quick friend that knows what's up. The HDR might be heaven to you, but you certainly want to get out of there too. My first time I traveled solo but I would have been apprehenssive if I didn't know the language. None of it mattered as soon as I met a few good fellas at the SL ![]() Cujo |
