Post subject: | Major Announcement: CRT NOW Firefox Compliant! |
Gentlemen: With Mozilla, Firefox Browsers making up close to 18% of the use on the web it had become apparent that there was growing uneasiness that CRT and all of its pages were not Firefox compliant. As of today that is no longer the Case! Thanks to A very talented programmer who worked over the Code for two days, he located the problem and subsequently the solution was implemented this afternoon. SO as of today there is no longer a need for a temporary Firefox Fix as all pages of CRT now function perfectly with Firefox as well as all other browsers. Since we are still way behind on the redesign on the balance of the pages, it was essential to get this implemented and as always YOU ASKED FOR IT you got it! Enjoy! |

Sorry Paco. Google Chrome will not be compatible with your 1987 McIntosh Personal Computer. Oh wait... didn't you recently upgrade to the Radio Shack TRS-80 Model ??? ![]() ![]() |

If Firefox3 works, then Chrome should too--from what I've read (and admittedly I'm a computer doofus), Chrome has major components of Firefox in it. The face looks different but they are both "open source kernels". From what I've read. Remember also that Chrome is still in Beta as is the new Internet Explorer. That said, I've posted some links on Chrome in a thread in Gen. Info this date. |

What I like most about Firefox 3 is that for those sites where you have to have IE, it's right there for you. Would that Ballmer et Cie. were so understanding--but then they don't have a history of that, do they? Linux especially from Red Hat or Ubuntu is looking better all the time, isn't it? P.S. The Postal Service uses Linux extensively especially in multi-processor or mission-critical environments--it's just better in every way, and with modern UI's ("wrappers"), you don't have to be overly techie to "get it" or use it comfortably. |
