Ok so I've been to CR twice now and I've done some serious damage down there but it still says I'm a CR virgin... newbie. What do I need more post or more time to graduate to the next level? Whats up Admin?

Unfortunately, the only way to get that changed is through more posts. I think 25 posts gets you to the next level, but I could be wrong.

But that's not always an accurate indicator. There are guys with less than 10 posts who have been to CR 15+ times and know the scene well, but don't post, so their handle still says newbie. And there are others who have over 1000 posts and have been to CR once or maybe never yet consider themselves experts.

It's just for fun, nobody really takes it seriously.

I think we should be able to make our own tag line.

Very simple to change your "ranking". Just make a lot of posts with nothing but emoticons. To post more seriously just take someones post and quote it add nothing but a line of emoticons. Has worked well for one member.

Post #50 just moved me from "Virgin" to "Not a Newbie". I don't know what the post counts are to get to the next higher levels. I'm a long way from PhD and certainly not an expert on anything in Costa Rica. Yet...
