11. Fake Cuban Cigar Guy
12. Aggressive Chicas at the Bar that just won't leave.
13. Weird Tico guy with strange haircut sometimes shine shoes with
goofy suite on.

14. Loud mouthed Gringos in BMGuys, please rank according to degree of irritation. I personally vote for the my personal favorite, the Crack K*D beggar who follows you and your chica halfway to the Presidente. Congragulations Crack K*D... you lousy MFer

I don't think it's even close...the worse has to be loud-mouthed obnoxious Gringos
in the BM (or elsewhere for that matter). Sometimes I've felt like accosting them and
hitting them over the head with a phuckin beer bottle!

The aggressive chicas at the BM used to bother me, but I've learned to just
tell them 'mi novia aqui pronto', which almost always makes them leave.

By far, the most annoying, irritating character in Costa Rica is the loud mouth, cocky, drunk, obnoxious, Gringo who cheers and screams like a monkey each and everytime he wins a hand in a casino.

Warning, this kind of behavior embarasses and ridiculizes the dealer, especially if she is a female dealer. Moreover, this grabs the attention from the supervisor/pit boss and could cost the dealer his/her job.

I havent seen the gut bucket guy yet - what's his deal?

I feel sorry for the K*D that is all burned up. Anyone know his story?

Another one to add that is annoying - the skanky old lady that threatens to show you her "operation" down in her crotch if you don't give her some colones. Real annoying when eating breakfast and she starts pulling her pants down.

1st place vote is for crack addicted boy.
2nd place vote is for shoe-shine boy(s).
3rd place is Mr. "Excuse me sir do you speak English?"
4th place is Mr. "I'm looking for the Salvation Army"

What about that caucasian looking guy with british accent :?: he's got a flat-top style haircut, dirty blond hair, he's skinny and stands about 5 foot 6 inches.

I was eating breakfast on the rail and eyeballing chicas like this :shock:

'british guy' comes up to me and says in a british accent :arrow: 'do you speak english ?' I grumble yes :?

he says 'i just got off the flight yesterday and some thieves sliced open my handbag and stole everything. i've been wandering the streets all night, Can you help me out fellow ?'

uh, :idea: no, i can't help you.

I missed the lady with the operation... = Is that the same small grimey looking lady, small, with black hair.. I thought she was just another beggar. Anyone ever see the operation? Not a real good marketing approach to the gringo I might add.

Last month while walking back to the Prez about 2AM I was approached by a K*D about 5'7" and around 18 years old who was looking for a handout. He spoke regular American English.

He said he grew up in the U.S (I can't remember where but I'm thinking Florida) but his mother was Costa Rican so he was deported for being a drug mule.

Anyone seen this K*D?

My top 3 pains in the ass are:

1...Crack addict begger boy


2...The gringo who tries to hustle you. This asshole tried this on me twice. The second time I started yelling at him in front of the Prez. The security guard got a real kick out of it.


3...The loud mouth obnoxious gringo assholes that hang out at the BM. I had one start cussing out the chicas because he felt that they should know English.


I really don't know which ones I dislike more, they all piss me off.

The Dumbass , fatass, loud mouth , redneck [and other ] GRINGOS are the bane , the UGLY AMERICANS that ruin the Pura Vida for us of a more civilized pursuation :oops: :cry: :evil: :twisted:
Besides, the rest of the nuisance characters are only there for a few moments, at most. The UGHHHHHIES are at the BM scene for horrible hours :(
Hate to say it, but I make more and more trips elsewhere to avoid that ugly scenario :roll:
