Post subject:  medical tourism

Wasn't sure where to post this thread...
MSNBC has a couple of articles today on this subject:
www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25415614/?GT1=43001 This is an over-all article and video
http://travel.msn.com/guides/article.as ... 0&GT1=4100 This one has links to medical health agents and Mexican dental material (from Paul Woodman's book "Patients without Borders"). I know from at least limited experience that the Aetna Federal/Postal plan will pay 80% of the price, if advised in advance. Plus of course I have a co-pay.

This info is presented by me without any liability to me for its use or outcome. But y'all know you can save big bucks by going outside the U. S. for treatment and convalescence. Pacemaker implant in India then try it out in Thailand?
