Amazing isn't it how our perception of "free-cash" changes so radically and so quickly ("free-cash"=windfall money). Case in point is the Eco Stim Payment--last year it would have been, "Oh, boy, this is an SJO r/t and hotel for 4 days"; this year it's,"Oh, boy, 10 weeks of gasoline and maybe a night in a Philly jazz club".
Maybe we need to adopt more of the Tico attitude toward time--enjoy this minute, this day 'cuz who knows the future but let's not fret about it. It ain't gonna be too long from now that we look back on THESE days as the "Good Old Days". Too right.

Yesterday is a cancelled check

Manana is a promissory note

Today is all the cash you have

Spend it wisely

Ayer is a memoria

Manana is a promesa

hoy is realidad

I like it. Also:

"Cash is King"

"Money is neither created nor destroyed, it just keeps changing hands".

There are more uber rich in America today than ever before yet more and more poor to go with it! Middle class rapidly disappearing as we knew it.

Jester,
I agree that "cash is king "

But I most respectfully disagree that
"Money is neither created nor destroyed, it just keeps changing hands".
( except if you are taking real money IE; Gold & Silver ?)

The U.S. of A. is creating dollars at breakneck speed !!!

This is how we are having such high inflation.
