Dominican and Colombian prostitutes have displaced local women in that occupation.


Just another fine example of a government looking out for it's citizens........ or, is it protectionism? Next thing you know they'll try and manipulate the currency. :roll: :roll:

Seriously, I really am pleased to see the Arias administration being proactive in protecting Tica sex workers jobs' and income. I mean it's slow in SJO and Jaco and there are lots of indigenous mouths to feed!

Heaven forbid the government would waste it's time solving the crime problem. That being said, I really don't care that expresident Calderon had his Prado car jacked yesterday, shortly after he made the last payment.

Anything to get rid of the Colombianas, I am a big supporter of.But keep the Dominicanas.They add flavor to the mongering scene.Now how about going after escort services raising prices and affecting the business of the hard working ticas in Del Rey and Key Largo?

If you were here those many years ago when there were just Ticas you would know the answer. Many of us old timers were very satisfied in those bygone years. Prices were reasonable, clock watching was not an issue, theft was not a problem, cbj was unheard of, GFE was the norm, MP's were cheap, etc., etc., etc.

It was a whole diffrent scene that you had to experience to appreciate.

I heard about this just yesterday. The issue of false marriages in CR is as old as prostitution in CR. In the case of the Dominicanas, the plan is to get a CR cedula after marrying a Tico. Then, it's off to Spain to ply the trade. I met one Dominicana in the KL one night who says she goes to Spain during the CR green season and back during dry season. This is very, very common for the Dominicanas.

On another note. "Word on the street" is that 4 Colombianos attempted to kill the Prez. of CR because he is constantly hassling the illegal Colombianas in CR. Anyone got any intel as to the truth of that one?

To Spain?Really? I spent a few months in Spain and found it the most boring country on earth.Especially after 10pm. Europe in general is a snooze, but Spain really takes the cake.Maybe that is why the brothels do well.Nothing else to do.But where are they?It has been two years since I was there, and I asked everybody and checked every possible source.No mongering activity on any major scale in Spain.Not in Costa Del Sol, Madrid, Barcelona or Seville.Is it some kind of underground thing?

Vegas In spain the places to go are called Nightclubs and they are found outside virtually every decent sized city. I am sure there are thousands of them.

I guess you did not go to the trouble of asking people what a night club is.
They are lit up at night with large large signs. Hard to miss.

Like the previous posters have stated many many latinas go to spain and work in these nightclubs and make the big euro bucks.

And 3-4 colombians plotted to kill a few top officials here because of the large quantities of c#ke confiscated the previous year(over 50 tons).
They were caught and only deported because conspiracy is not against the law in CR. They could care less about CR harrassing colombians.

Dude, where did you go????? They don't even start partying until after midnight. Serious most people don't even go out until 11PM and stay out late late. Families with Ch*ldren stay out until 3AM, revelers until dawn or later, esp. en Andalucia (mejor mejor). Yes no major obvious mongering but there are drive up "casas" easily distinguishable and street action if you know where to look.

I got my first BBBJ on the outskirts of Malaga during the day in 91 and also had a nice although bit chunky Moroccan. Maybe has changed but when I was in Barcelona in 04 a total night party.

The key there like in CR is to go to the seedy areas. Malaga more industrial and not as pretty as Marbella but lot more action. Also try Fuengirola on the south coast also a more industrial town. And then there are the industrials towns on the north and of course Barcelona, wonderful Barcelona which certainly has its' seedy areas. Granada also.

Maybe some good intel in ISG.

I love Spain if anything because the people are so nice when you get outside the large metro areas.

Yup. I just checked on ISG and there's tons, TONS of stuff in Spain but mostly have to be in Madrid, Barcelona or the seedier coastal towns as I mentioned.

A lot of Spain esp. the smaller inland cities is still very conservative which isn't a bad thing either if you are searching for a good wife. I'm seriously thinking of selling it all and moving there for a few years to find a nice woman while still relatively young. And they are incredibly beautiful, somehow worked out the Ugly factor.
