Post subject:  Status Poll
Since we are playing with polls lately, I was wondering: How do we break down relationship wise. I can't put all the options on the poll but we should be able to get a snapshot, for what it's worth.

Which best describes your status:

1) Single/Divorced

2) Committed relationship.

3) Committed relationship but I would bolt if I could.

I would have liked to have added:

4) Committed relationship (and she knows what I do). But I think the poll is limited to three options.

For myself, married twice first time '79-'80 second '82-'83. Followed by a series of committed and semi-committed relationships interspersed with periods of pure bachelorhood. I would say that I have had my freedom to mingle in all but 3-5 years, I'm 56.

With all the new guys, I thought it might be a topic worth kicking around...again.

None of the above. Mostly everyone fits into the vague majority choices. Theres a few that have a mix of them all. cheers 8)

Sorry guys but with three possible choices it is kinda hard to fit everyone's situation.

El S, if you consider choice one to encompass "available" it might be easier.

Stunna, don't know how I could have fit "Harvard educated 24 yr old hermaphrodite with ADD who can't figure out his status" in there. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I know you were thinking of me when you wrote of a mythical option #4. :D One of the reasons I love my wife so dearly is that she trusts me enough and gives me the freedom to go to C.R. at least once a year. Her reservations against my going have much less to do with jealousy than they do with her dislike of being alone and also financial concerns.

My marriage has in fact been happier for both of us since I began mongering in 1997 (Gosh, has it been that long)? Her rules are simple: Don't bring home any diseases, don't waste money, and don't brag to our mutual friends about your trips. Hey, rules like these I can live with. :D

And then there is Veronica... Andrea, Sandra, Mary Luz, Maria not once or twice... but thrice...., Angelica, Flavia, Bruna, ....

Single for the past 8 years. Married twice, but have been single for more years of my life than married. Almost changed my status when I came to CR and shifted into dumb-ass-Captain-Save-A-Ho. Now I'm back to Nookie chasing single guy. :D

Single? Yes.
But more than that. Never, ever even close to being anything other that a bachelor. Probably eligible to be president of the club!

Wow...so far two-thirds of us are single. Never would have guessed that.

Of the marrieds, one third are ready to bolt and freely admit it. Interesting stuff. :shock: :wink:
