I didn't want to post this in the "Golden Showers" thread, it would probably be hijacking it.
I quit reading Golden Showers thread (not into the what the title is about) until Admin1 answered, I figured it must be good!!
Normal is just a word (judgment) used by each individual, and has wildly different meanings, none with an absolute truth. While I'm not a fan of "Golden Showers", that does not mean that it is not "very normal", or even tame by another's standards. Let it go!!!!
The problem comes about when I try and put my "normality" (judgments) on someone else, or a given situation. When I give my judgments a "voice" on this board, being a man must defend it, or I am less than if others don't agree. I used to be very good at this. A shrink once called it my "lawyer mentality". I used words to beat people up, and make myself "more than". It didn't work really well in my life, but I sure as h*ll felt good, as I was pushing people away from me. As they walked away they mumbled something about "that assh*le" under their breath.. I was RIGHT, and as a man I had to make my judgment right. It seemed very satisfying.
Friends, just because any other person does not agree with your judgement, it does not mean that you are wrong, or less than, and they are right. When I take in the other persons point of view negatively, and respond with anger, or try to shame them, the other person is the winner, and I lose. No matter what the situation, do not take in others energy that you deem as negative, which it probably is not anyway. When I choose to take in others perceived negative energy I am always less than I was when I started, and I have lost something of myself no matter what the outcome.
IMHO, state your point of view, and let it go. Who cares if another has a different opinion. Just my dos colones....
Now back to reading about poosey, peeing, or pooping, whatever floats your boat.
