What's the plan? I was thinking of heading to the place next to the Del Rey... Last year we went to the irish place in San Pedro across from Scarletts and that was a blast but the new place downtown looks pretty good and is owned by a real irish guy. |

The NY bar owner has talked us into playing in the afternoon, 3 pm to 6 I think. Corned beef and cabbage will be served. Shannon's up the calle from the Del Rey will be very Irish too, naturally. Anyone wanting their eardrums abused is more than welcome to come hear us, the nearly famous 'Gringo Starrs.' |

BILKO What kind of music will your band play on St. Patrick's Day? Are you expecting a large crowd? I haven't been in the NY Bar in years. Would I be embarrassed to bring my wife? DC |

DC We play rock, a mix of 70s and 80s with some country and some older stuff. The NY bar isn't an all out brothel like the Del Rey, though there will probably be a few working girls inside, they won't be extremely obvious. We get some 'normal' couples and they seem to feel okay about it. Hope to see you. |
