How does the action at the BM and DR compare when going in June? Will be there 6/9. Is this time period better / worse regarding price and quality?

I prefer the green season because of the fewer touristas. It generally rains every afternoon for a couple of hours, but not enough to keep you in all night. As far as quality goes, there will always be quality girls around. Many guys like going durring tourist season, because there are lots of girls around. The downside is that there are a lot more tourists too. With the large number of gringos in town, the quality girls will not be to eager to come off the "cien" thing. Some guys like going into the Blue Marlin to see it wall to wall chicas. The problem is there are lots of guys looking too. Besides, if there are thirty girls or one hundred and thirty, how many do you need? You can usually find someone to your liking.

Thanks for the info. I plan on doing some white water for a few days and some serious boning for a few nights. Hopefullng will find someone compatible to take to the Paridon in Quepos for a couple of days.

I concur with Tunaman. For mongering, the rainy season is definitely the best time to go. With the reduction in gringos it turns into a buyer's market and negotiating is much easier, especially in the daytime. There have been some afternoons when it was raining heavily outside that there were only five or six guys in the DR and about 40 girls. You would be surprised at how many girls will except $40 to $50 for an hour when the ratio is 8 or 9 girls for every guy. If you are planning on doing a lot of tourist activities, that's a different story. It will most definitely rain every day, but usually only in the afternoon and usually only for 2 to 4 hours.
