It's been in the news lately....supposedly some sort of herb which produces a high, and strange dreams. Was used by ancient indians; looks similar to marijuana. It is said to be legal in the U.S. There has been some controversy over it...saying it has driven some youthful users to suicide. Can be bought in some "has been hippie" shops and over the net. :?

Endless supply of chicas. What do we need drugs or drug-like herbs for. Is't it ever enough ?

The Sage of the Diviners (salvia divinorum) is totally illegal in 5 U.S. states, most notably Delaware, where it carries the same legal penalties as heroin or LSD.

Salvia is not available in C.R. to the best of my knowledge. It is grown in Oaxaca MX.

In states where it is legal, it is readily available in head shops, etc. It is also available via the Internet.

Warning: This discussion may be in violation of Forum rules, although we're essentially discussing a legal drug here.

Note: S. divinorum is *not* a party drug. It is not a cannabis alternative. It is not "herbal acid." Use of salvia carries certain risks.

Hope this helps.

Doesn't anybody else know how to Google? Here are just a few of the nearly 1 million hits for on-line sources that came up high in a Google search (for "salvia divinorum sale"):
http://www.herbalfire.com/salvia_divinorum.htm
http://www.ethnobotanicals.com/salvia-divinorum.html
http://www.themysticcollector.com/salvia_divinorum.htm
http://www.marijuanaalternatives.com/bsalvia.htm
http://www.bouncingbearbotanicals.com/ethnobotanicals-salvia-divinorum-c-60_28.html

And if you just want to find out more about it, apart from wikipedia, here is another good source with many other links:

el ciego,

thanks for the info. i know the salvia is legal here in cr, i'm just not aware of where to buy it.

prolijo, i know how to use google. how about you use your precious google skills and tell me where to buy saliva IN COSTA RICA, just as i said in my 1st post. i'm fully aware of where to buy it online. so i guess next time, read the freakin comment before you post. your post did nothing for the value of this thread, except to show your own ignorance and ability to fully read and comprehend.

I think if anyone showed their ignorance in this thread it was not Prolijo
