I was in the DR last night until 10:30pm (I know....that's late for me) but it was the absolute slowest Thursday night I have ever seen there.I walked over to KL to take a look before heading home. Never have I seen a Thursday night with so few chicas. If this is the onset of Navidad it's going to be really slow for a while. It's a good thing that my phone keeps ringing with "friends" or it could be a real dry spell. |

You're right there wasn't a big crowd, but neither were there many men in the place either. We were there until 1:30am or so, after arriving at 10pm, and it looked like a very healthy ratio of at least 12 to 1. My buddy had a very cute little spinner take him out to the car for a BJ for $10, and most were asking $50 to $75 for the whole night. |

Got there tonight about 7:00 and stayed 'till 9:00. There was a huge lack of guys early and maybe 30 girls. As the night progressed, more guys showed but didn't seem to be much business tonight. Ivanna and Patricia were both there for the entire time and didn't see them talk to a single guy but me. In other words, some pretty darn fine quality and no guys to speak of. NEVER seen it this dead. Other day was in about 3pm and there were maybe 15 chicas in the place and maybe 5 guys. I've been blown away by how slow it is. And don't look for a lot of Colombianas or Nicas as it seems they've all left town. But on the other hand, I'm sure bargaining must be a breeze right now with some good deals to be had I'm sure. And when they return in flux after the holidays needing to work quick and a lot, might be another great time. |

I have had a great week. Yes, few chicas, but even fewer guys. Things have been pretty good for me this week. The day shifts at the Rey have been great. Definitely a much slower pace than usual. Lots of grumbling from the providers. I sat in the bar one day last week and there were 14 to 18 chicas and only one other guy. Those are odds that are hard to beat. My negotiating power has never been better. There are still a lot of foreign mercenaries and simi-pro out for a little xtra christmas cash. I know there are a flood of fellow jackasses coming in over the coming days. I expect the balance of power to shift dramaticly. I am heading for the hills. Peace out. |

Dosen't appear to be too many of us heading in to town, based on the roll calls. There are always some foreigners (chicas) around who actually live in CR with their families. Mostly Ticas though. Sometimes, there is decent daytime action because "mommy" tells the K*ds & carlos she is out shopping for xmas presents. |

I talked to Bill at Sportsmans Lodge and he is sold out for chunks of time. So who knows? My theory is that there will be even fewer chicas out next week. But hell, what the phuck do I know? |

We went over to the DR yesterday afternoon for a few drinks, and it was empty. It looked worse than Holy Week when they close the place because they can't gamble or sell alcohol. There were "maybe" 8 people in the whole place besides employees, men and women combined. We left after an hour or so, and went to ZB. 4 working, 1 customer. |

I was in the Key Largo last night (Sat.) and there was certainly no shortage of chicas. There weren't all that many guys out, relatively. |

Post subject: | Introduction and help requested |
Greetings to my fellow CRT's a short introduction.... I am new to the travel abroad opportunities. I just found CRT; All I can say is "WOW"! I have read quite a bit and the crt members are very accommodating with fellow members. However with all the info available at times it can be a lot to discern. In the last 24 hours since finding CRT I am wowed by all the opportunities. I am a young mid 30's guy never married. I wish to travel this weekend or next, I REALLY NEED IT! If you could msg me directly that would be great. For my first time I want to make sure I travel to the right place. (max, 7 hr flight) TreasureHunter ![]() |

Treasure Step 1, Join VIP, see link below for the discounts you receive at MP's, Hotels and restaurants... Then do a little reading, here is a start.... https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16357 https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewto ... sc&start=0 https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5209 https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3031 https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9488 Read a little, throw out a few posts with questions, we are always here to help... Also, what city do you travel from, I would check www.Kayak.com, you have the ability to do a flexible days search for flight to SJO (San Jose airport) Aircanada used to have a non stop from YYZ, I think it is seasonal though, I also know Delta flys the Toronto, Atlanta, San Jose route daily. Have fun, I arrive for trip # 16 on 1/17... |

TreasureHunter, I'm a Newbie here too. I'm experienced in other places, but not Costa Rica. But I would definitely second the other member who suggested that you go ahead and join. I just booked my trip, and haven't been yet, but I've already saved more than the cost of the membership in hotel discounts. ANd I haven't even been yet. And the members and the PMs I've gotten are genuinely helpful. These are good guys. Well, most of them anyway. ![]() FWIW I'm going 2/10-21 because the Superbowl etc seems to have Sportsmen's Lodge maxed out until then. |
