Myth or reality?? I say there are some people who we can really call legends and they are living legends!!
WE have alot of stories, have been around for along time, and their stories are true...therefore, legendary!!

My number 1 vote:
CIRCUS

Followed closely by the likes of DonGordo, and countless others....Give us some legendary stories!!!

YO Zig:

Thanks but no my friend. Legends are for people who do dynamic things and are read about in history. I'm nothing. Certainly not on this board of many members. A character I might agree. Then again there are a number of people on here that wish I would just fade away.....which will probably be soon.

I agree Circus is one of my favs, very funny and informative.

But there are many here in different catagorys of reports that where awesome for info and direction. I needed that.

There are some that just read the posts and have a wealth of info...but don't share..
And there have been great story tellers, those who have been here a while know this.

How can we say one is a legend.. we are legends in the making

I still have yet to meet Zippy (the true stealth man of CRT) and NuckNFuts who would have to be a blast to party with.

One of the great things about CRT and coming to Costa Rica is we get to say and do what we really want and be our own legends even if it is just for a short while.

Interesting thread you have started here. The idea of legends really needs to be put in different catagories. First for wisdom and the ability to share knowledge and experience to help others have a better CR experience and second for talent and the ability to comunicate to others in a style that leaves the reader hungry to read more. As for yours truely; I will always be a legend.....only in my own mind. Also a third would be the long list of crazy characters, whose antics cause us to LOL, roll our eyes or shake our heads in disgust.

I guess that I used the term Legend with the word Character as if they were the same.....Easier to call someone a character, than a Legend...Well, dont care what ya call it...there are Legends, guys who have experienced alot more than others...and my vote still goes to a character...CIRCUS....VIVA CIRCUS!!!!

You are correct about the knuck, he is DEFINITELY A LEGEND!!! Of course, depends on how a person quantifies the term!!

In the 2 years I've been in CRT, I haven't met a huge number of VIPs, but I have read much of what's written on the board and do know one member who certainly deserves that accolade...

There is truly one stand up guy who I've met and am impressed with his personality, wit, convictions, and that unique ability to defend our fellow VIPs rights and opinions on the forum... He is helpful to the newbies, always informative with a great positive attitude, irreverent at times to entertain, and a solid voice of the membership...

Sometimes the occasional offbeat A$$hole character unfairly challenges the ideals of the group, makes incredibly ignorant statements, or is just a total detriment to the board... We have our unofficial voice of reason who responds quickly and decisively to defend CRT and quite often, the offender self destructs and banishes himself to oblivion....

We do have a CRT legend and my choice is MUCHO GUSTO, Chairman of the Board of the Goodfelloz...

I wanted to make my 500th post special... Here's to you, MG... 8)

I must pay homage to the 2 guys who's trip reports I would read back in the day.

Ruffnuts & GetRythm had some stories that really got me excited to finally pull the trigger and head down. Somehow I believe those were really the good old days. MG, always good for a laugh and solid posts...
