With today's economic conditions, it seems like many of us will be unemployed for a small time. I wonder if there are any mongers that have used some reserve cash to monger in Costa Rica while unemployed. There definitely would not be a shortage of time and the cost would be okay if you are wise and plan well. I have met many unemployed mongers in Tijuana using up their "extra" energy. I guess that it's just so easy to walk across from Southern California and tap something for $60. |

$60 barely gets you a decent dinner with a gringa at most true restaurants today. It's $60 and you get what you want from a girl as a monger. Do you think many gringas would want anything to do with an unemployed monger down on his luck? I work with many gringas in their mid twenties that brag about how much money their guy makes. They want guys that are tall, good looking, athletic, rich and also have a long shlong. Without mongering, many unemployed guys would be without sex for a long time. |

"Without mongering, many unemployed guys would be without sex for a long time." And many employed ones as well making below the unrealistically high Gringa Princesa standards. |

What I joke with my buddy about is if I get laid off, after the initial cost to get down somewhere could almost live off the unemployment. Maybe not CR any more but rent in Nica can be dirt cheap. |

Outstanding post Greengo. Definetely knew there was a way to live very affordably down there in my six visits to date, especially when Ticos houses run $25K and the average wage although rising is still only $400/mo. I am fluent in basic Spanish (awesome with Spanish numbers) and don't spend a whole lot of time mongering (only surgically to meet basic needs). But I do spend a lot of time learning the central valley as a whole. Against my parent's desires I may very well be moving down there permanently for awhile. I will tell them when the day arrives it is this or I have no choice but to end my life (seriously). Better to have a son alive even if away than dead. Can't stand these phucking stuck up Americana bitches any more. |
