What I wrote is correct. The "a" can be left out or included, both ways are correct.

You are absolutely wrong. It is never correct to put the preposition "a" between the verb “gustar” and another infinitive.

Examples:

Te gusta bailar? – Correct
Te gusta a bailar? – Incorrect

Te gustaria pasar tres o cuatro horas conmigo? – Correct
Te gustaria a pasar tres o cuatro horas conmigo? – Incorrect

There are several verbs that do take the preposition “a” (ir, aprender, comenzar, etc.), but gustar is not one of them.

Examples:

Vas a bailar?
Comienza a llover.
Aprende a leer.

It may be a minor correction, but hopefully it will prevent guys that are just learning Spanish from sounding like dumb asses.

Upon further review, I'm not clear as to what you are actually trying to find out. Are you asking "How much would you enjoy spending 3 or 4 hours with me?", or "How much money would you like for spending 3 or 4 hours with me?"

If it the former, see my previous post. If it the latter, say "Cuanto dinero te gustaria por pasar tres o cuatro horas conmigo?"

And if you can't remember "cuanto te gustaria a pasar tres o cuatro horas conmigo?"; just ask in english--they ALL understand "how much money for" and-- 2 or 3 or 4 hours. Thou I think it is great that you are interested in talking to them in espanol, and they really appreaciate it ( and frequently it will help in lowering the price and or quallity of service)
