Can anyone on this board give me a contact, or phone number for Dish Network here in Costa Rica. Direct TV has been bought out by Sky Network. They came out today to reposition the antenna and change receivers. The programming blows. Thanking you in advance.

There is no "legal" Dish Network in Costa Rica. There are companies who can install a 2.8 meter dish that can get some dish programming using an FTA receiver. There are some ad's in the Tico Times classified section.

Was browsing the Tico Times this morning and found the ad's

Sun Sat TV
Reiny: 506-249-0506
Cathy: 506-282-9097
Cathy@sunsattv.com
www.sunsattv.com

Dr. Dish
506-837-3474
www.drdishcr.com

Small correction the dish is a bit smaller than I remembered 2.4 meters about 8 feet.

Just a note, Sky TV is part of the Rupert Murdoch (of Fox 'news' fame) empire. If you support his approach to 'news' then no problem. Personally, I'd rather go without a TV if all I had was what Rupert decided I should see.

Direct TV is owned by News Corp as well.
