If my memory serves from highschool Spanish, Isn't All Souls Day sort of like Halloween in Latin American Countries?? If so, does anybody know if they will have any parties?? Will they be on the November 1st ( which is a Thursday, or have them on Friday to take advantage of the weekend?

Well I don't know about this holiday specificly, but one thing I have learned about Costa Ricans, they don't need much of an excuse to party. They have so many celebrations in the town that I live in that I cannot keep track of them all.

This is true. Often, I look out my window in the morning and notice a difference in traffic. I ask my girlfriend why is there no traffic today and she laughs and confirms that yes, it is yet another holiday.
