That was fuckin depressing!
If you ever wanted to see what it was like to be on the other side of the rail, that movie will give it to you.
I think the saddest part for me was when she started dating the computer programmer...reminded me of my first time. I was in a bar in TJ when this little beauty slid up next to me. We spent some time chatting, and shared some quesa dia...and margarita. Then she bagged me...gave me the "hey, I'm a sure thing" line right out of the movie
Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. I have to say that movie gives you the fantasy. I went for it. The girl was right...she was a sure thing and I had enough of gringa blue balls at that point. However, the encounter sucked and I didn't repeat for 12 years, I think. Interestingly enough I think it was her lack of experience that made it bad. It was almost like losing it all over again. But then, me and my first girlfriend were pretty smooth since we had been working our way up for a while...but I digress.
But the computer programmer in the movie is having his date with the puta, and the background music was Chopin's piano piece
Raindrop Prelude which I play. It is one of my favorites. Kind of heart breaking, really. Then she turns a trick in the can with some dude who knew her. Sheesh. At least her Dominican friend can turn off the "puta" switch. But seeing the whole business from the woman's point of view is ugly. The only thing missing was a stained panty liner on the floor of a bathroom or something. Ugh. Woman have some ability to simply not see what is in front of them; that I do not have. Ugh. I have always known this...I just didn't need to see it. Maybe its because they have changed some daipers or something. God only knows...
The best part of the movie was when the Dominican was getting a little payback for getting beaten up by her loser immigration lawyer. So she tries to give him a little disease action. Fair enough. Taking out one lawyer at a time is a start.
That movie though, was positively disturbing...
