You guys are too kind . This , I believe, is the kind of post that Admin 1 had in mind when he started this site back in 2003. More help and brotherhood and less old-grumpy-fart bickering. |

A good place I go often with different girls is the Fiesta Resort < Puntarenas soon to be called Doubletree by Hilton . It is all inclusive and the girls seem to love it. $ 100- $ 120 per day low season. You can take a day trip to Areanal ( sp? ) volcano if you wish. Another place this time of year is Marriott Los Suenos ocean and golf resort. Now in the low season a $ 350 per night room can be had for $ 150 or so. Call Franklin Robleto the reservation supervisor for exact retes ( 506) 630-9033. The Fiesta Resort has a web page for online reservations. Have a great time. H. |

If the quality of the beach isn't important, Jaco should suit you just fine. I hate that place because of the humidity and the horribly dirty/smelly beach, but many like it. But if you want a nicer beach, try Guanacaste region on the Pacific side. It's a short 40 minute flight to Tamarindo. It's not cheap by any means. |

Try Playa Conchal in the Guancaste area. It's an all inclusive resort. Pricey but you can get a huge discount if your girl is a Tica or has residency in CR. Also, Tabacon is a great resort in the lake Arenal area. It's in the mountain near the volcano and the temperature is more moderate. Search either one on Google and you can get their websites or PM me and I can give you more info. Plan to go to either before Dec 15th since prices go up then. |

I am with you brother. Is it just me, or does it seem like things have been better the last week or so? I really enjoy the civil discourse. I think there are a lot more guys that read and don't participate because to the toxic crap that was going on. Hopefully more of the good guys will come out of the wood work. |

If I took a tica to a beach town, it would be Tamarindo instead of Jaco just for the beauty of the beach and more laid back feeling. I find it romantic since it's still not as big and developed as Jaco. Jaco is great if you are looking for some tica action for the night at Beetle Bar or Monkey Bar. Why bring a hot piece of ass from San Jose to Jaco since the girls in Jaco are mostly hot pieces of ass? Tamarindo does not have as many ticas working |

I do the Flamingo beach area every trip, I think it is good to be a tourist for a few days and enjoy life, THAT is why we are there, Yes ? I have many excellent memories ..... Yes you will spend a lot more money but you have come this far, why not go a little farther. Sailing, ATV, FISHING with MG, pottery, mucho cosas ! In Flamingo there are a couple spots and good eats outside of the hotel. and Brasilito, contact Mucho Gusto, he is your best bet for info in Flamingo OR PM me. For me I am thinking of Sugar Beach next trip ( a bit farther north ) Just know you should bring your own girl ( as you have mentioned ) and a bottle of your favorite spirit, Be good and have fun and remember to be a gentleman in all ways, or in other words.... Don't make me look bad for recommending the place. Fiedler |
