Is it possible to get XM Radio in Costa Rica? Many of the college football games are on XM Radio. |

This is great question. I am trying to see if Sirius works also. Heard but cannot confirm that it works over in Afghanistan. Hoping someday soon to buy the portable Sirius and take with me on my next viaje. |

I can say with almost 100% certainty that it won't work with mobile units. However, I do not know if it will work over your PC. dapanz1 |

i am 100% positive it does not work with the mobile units. I purchased both the mobile unit and radio equiped with XM and niether one works at all. i contacted XM for assistance and they said maybe in the future, but thats the responce i expected. The PC on the other hand, works with a current paid subscription , and also having DSL or better. i hope this helps |

Has this situation improved in the last 10 months? Is there a current list of Internet radio stations available (REAL radio stations, not podcasts)? My contibution to that would be www.wbgo.org and www.wrti.org jazz stations, of course. BTW, Livingcr's link is still live. jazzbocr the thread dumpster diver |

Try finding the games on www.radiostationworld.com. Just find the local hometown station that carries the game for your team. I do this with the hockey games sometimes but prefer to use NHL.com for hockey. In the states I listen to CR radio on my computer using their free service. In CR you can listen to your favorite stations back home, where ever that may be. |
