How is the weather in SJ and at the beaches like Jaco around nov/dec.

Last year, I visited during the week that runs through Thanksgiving. It was hot during the day. It was mild in the evenings.

That time can be iffy. It is right around the end of rainy season. It can still be lingering rain, or it can be sunny and hot.

Location: Sabana Oeste , Costa Rica
November is the transitional month between the rainy season and the dry season.

November the average temp is 66F and the rainfall 5.8 inches

this compares to

October the average temp is 68F and the rainfall is 12.7 inches

December the average temp is 66F and the rainfall is 1.6 inches

These figures are for San Jose only. The temperature at the beach is significantly higher.

As you can see from the figures the later in November you are in San Jose the less chance of rain.
