Ok great article in AM Costa Rica today front page.. about the seven wonders of CR http://www.amcostarica.com/

Now... I am sure we can do this much better CRT Style... Nominations begin for the 7 wonders of CR CRT Style.... How creative can we be.....

Seven Wonders of Costa Rica!

In Reverse Order

7. The ever ending battle of street merchants, hawks & scam artists, crooked taxi drivers, Tico vs. Gringo rates; sometimes it’s too funny not to just laugh.

6. Getting out of downtown and seeing the never ending beauty of the country side, beaches carved out of mountainous rock formations, volcanoes that are spectacular, indigenous people living on the river banks during a rafting tour, and so much more.

5. Experiencing the I’m on Tico / Tica Time mentality of an entire nation. From waiting forever for a chica to show or NOT SHOW, to the I’m only 90 minutes late that’s acceptable, it truly is a wonder why or how they can live this way.

4. A Don Gordo Birthday Bash

3. Threesome at Zona Blue with Pamela & Lorena & Naomi hey that’s a foursome!

2. A CRT Anniversary Party

1. The look or feel of the first time you walk into the Del Rey on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night on your first visit.

I don't know if your list is perfect in everyone's mind, but it pretty much comports with mine!! If you add "Ability to practice imperfect Spanish" and "See Chica Favorita," then it gets even sweeter!

I won't list THE 7 wonders, but any list should include the Molino Rojo and the Dungeon, just to throw a bone to those who wander outside the gulch from time to time.
