Let me float a fun sounding business idea for you guys. I've volunteer taught a bit in both English and Spanish. It strikes me that all the people I know who learned best and quickest in both languages, guys and girls, were those who were hooking up with a native speaker. They probably also had the most fun with their education... (think "vowel practice").

What about sexy language teachers here in CR? I'm thinking they prepare topics for conversation (or you choose them), give you the new words you want to know relating to those topics, maybe correct your grammar and usage if you're more advanced... oh yeah, and they speak to you in a slow, sexy voice and start out in lingerie. As you progress, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through they start to stip. Wasn't there something like that in a stupid Adam Standler movie? I think it might really work.

Then, if you wanted something extra, you could work it out with the girl as an "independent contractor." I already know a few girls who I think would do this, and I could give them a little training as language teachers myself.

If the girls get good they could even operate as online tutors with webcams... horny Spanish 1 college students, busy executives, and so on, might pay well for that. It could get a lot of "viral" and word-of-mouth publicity.

Would anyone pay for this, and if so, how much?

Another possibilty is the "sexy tour guide," but I'm not that much for tour guides myself. Maybe she could teach you how to scuba dive or something, while naked.

Your thoughts?

Nice fantasy but unrealistic for learning a language.

Where you gonna find girls to do this? Keep in mind that ALL Del Rey chicas can't speak correctly or write for shit in their own native language.

Reminds me of the movie "Sleeping Dictionary" with the always hot Jessica Alba.

Quote:
Plot Summary

An eager young Englishman is dispatched to Sarawak to become part of the British colonial government, encounters some unorthodox local traditions, and finds himself faced with tough decisions of the heart involving the beautiful young Selima, the unwitting object of his affections.

In 1936, the expatriated young and naive just-graduated British John Truscott (Hugh Dancy) arrives to the Sarawak, a British colony, to work in the Iban society. The beautiful Selima (Jessica Alba) is assigned to be his "sleeping dictionary", to live and sleep with him and teach him the language and habits of the locals. The reluctant John and Selima fall in love for each other in a forbidden romance

I've seen several things like this in town, but never tried them. My guess is that if a gringo tried to start one and was visible, he'd find serious grief. There have been many little walkups that claim to be "language study" or some such in the downtown area over the last decade that were probably hook shops. A connected Tico would have a much easier time staying out of trouble with this than you would. It might work, but be careful.

While in the clubs of Cartagena I would tell the girls I needed an all night lesson In espanol romantica. i think it was a respectable icebreaker. The girls look a little surprised when we got back to the apartment and I pulled out the spanish dictionary and gave them a glass of wine. I would look up romantic words and practice them. Every girl would take the dictionary from me and practice a few english words as well. I think all the girls enjoyed it as much as I did.It made for more of a gfe experience. I think you have a good idea. You would probably need a partner that was connected. You would have to pay your teachers a good salary to keep them.
