I have been putting off buying a GPS Unit for a while and thought now might be a good time to pick one up before heading down to San Jose next week.

Only problem is I cant Find Maps for Costa Rica anywhere. I did find the Site http://www.rsgps.net that said they would rent you a Garmin GPS with the maps already on it (Anyone ever deal with these guys??), But I would rather just buy a GPS since I wanted one anyway and load the local maps on it while I was there.

(Another benefit to this was I would like to Create POI`s for all of our favorite spots there and maybe then Share the File.. Kind of like Don Gordo`s Map for the nerds)

Anyone know where I can get/download Garmin compatible maps (Or other as I have bought anything yet but figured Garmin would be most Common) for San Jose preferably with updated streets??
