Duty Free closes exactly at 9PM.
Bring your own bottle in your checked luggage, wrapped in bubblewrap.

My plane landed at 8:45 PM but our gate was occupied and it was raining so we had to wait for busses to arrive to take us into the arrivals gate area. By the time we got into the airport, it was 9:03 PM and the duty free shops were closed tight.
Got to the hotel and had a few drinks in the bar.
The bar closed and I went to my room and opened a 200 ml bottle of rum from the mini bar at a cost of $16.

Lesson learned.

agree with the mas x menos shopping. Pretty much the same price, and you can get it properly packaged and packed before you go. One less thing to worry about, especially since while they always close exactly on time they often seem to open late, and it can be touch and go on the early flights.
