HolaNFloridaB,
Maybe it's time to get rid of that 25 year old piece-of-shit Radio Shack TRS-80 computer, with the dot matrix printer and card reader, and buy a new one, preferrably one with Windows XP or Vista ?!?!?!?!? What do ya think??? I know it's difficult letting go of things so sentimental, but come on! This is the new Millenium. Get with the program!!!!! :P :P :P
MG

I have to be honest I think the problem is not CRT but IE 7... I have IE 7 here in the office and for some particular reason when I use that browser on my desktop, its no slow by any means but it does hesitate as I know that IE 7 has many built in phishing filters, and all types of BS security.

Using my laptop which is right next to me which is supposed to be for "WORK" Only, It still has IE 6 and its lighting fast on CRT.... Note I use firefox for the forum but IE 6 home & Laptop for the rest of the site...

I am not having problems except for IE 7 which causes problems EVERYWHERE for me...

Guys you know I spend about all day watching the site, and I have no different connection than anyone else...

Nothing is wrong with the site, nothing is running slow, Check your ISP the issue is not here.

I just checked log files, 98% free Server usage the last 36 hours never more than 2% being used.

Also the only time you might get a slow down is between 5AM / 6AM EST when the server runs an auto backup other than that I see no problems.

Sorry

Had a problem of very slow loading on a couple of sights including CRT when I was using IE6. Switched to Firefox and the problem disappeared. Some computer Gurus told me IE7 was designed because so many people where having speed problems with IE6 and were switching to Firefox.

YO Geeks:

You guys just don't know JACK about this computer shit. Yea, I use to log in at 5 AM and it was 7 AM when I got on the site. Thanks to my friend Julio down at J's Pawn and Loan he upgraded me from my old 1.5K modem to a 3.5K modem. Other than the $54. for parts he installed it free of charge. Ole Julio knows how to treat a gringo.

The nice thing about this new speed um' up modem is that I can just take a short snooze now until the picture comes on. Looks like I might be on the edge of advanced tachnology. Eat your hearts out.

PM me if you need Julio to send you any stuff to correct your problem.

MG, You must be crazy that I entertain the thought of replacing the TR-80

With new laptops at $500 I tend to see it another way, that would be one less flight to SJ, nope now I just go to the library or the local coffee haus and turn the college K*ds onto the site  Right now I have 50 committed to signing up on the 19th

Admin, the problem was on my end, had I known Paco saw
this as an op to bitch I would have just pm'ed you
