Try Dr. Chen or Sanchez, probably cheaper than Prisma (which looks to be less than half the price stateside) https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8109 |

I can have it done in the States or at least where Im at for about the same price. They use the ZOOM 2 Here in Big Sky Country MT, the Dentist want $275-290 for the ZOOM2 laser and most recomend the take home for around $200. I can have it done here both for $490. Maybe theres a local place in SJO that does it for a better deal. Maybe you just have to be local to get a deal. I also wonder if they use the ZOOM 2 system down there now...I guess I can check it out when im there in 10 days |

Where are you seeing $300 in So. Fla.? All the places I've called in Miami seem to want $400 to $500 for a cleaning + Zoom. Thanks. |

Budlite & Dee, Here is another link worth viewing; https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewto ... 17&start=0 I have used Dr. Chen, his costs were much less than the others mentioned on the thread. I was happy with his work and had been given a heads up that his office can be busy and suggested I bring some reading material. My Deep Clean & Whitening procedure took approx., 4.5 hrs(Total time in office) His office was short one assistant that day and he had an emergency with a bambino. So if time is a major factor, something to consider. On the otherhand, I now have a better idea of Dr. Chen's work, both professionaly and what he gives to the community. He works with many underpriviledged Ticos and for this I admire him. He and his wife are to be commended for providing good, reasonable dental health care to those less fortunate than I. How much is pro bono I have no idea but I doubt he employs a collection agency if you know where I'm going. |
