No need to apologize, as you're far from the first one to ever re-raise an old subject and I'm sure you're far from being the last who ever will. That sort of goes with the territory on any forum and why you see so many vets who eventually move on. I've just hung on longer than most and gotten crankier in my old age. As for triggering a bitch attack in you, the same could be as easily said about me and what I just posted. It happens sometimes to most of us. So any apologies go both ways.

As for reading the subject line, I didn't just chime in to bitch as I did try to also add the type of info I thought you were looking for with both a link to the old thread and a quote from the admin who is most in position to know what it is really supposed to be.

It is funny to see an old thread brought back to life and see handles you no longer see and wonder did they leave the game or just the board and when will we all get bored with this

I for one have been around from the inception and I wont hijack this thread on old vets leaving etc.. only to say if they leave thats their choice no need to get cranky about an old thread being brought up... Hence do we forget the days before the invaluable info of the forum...

Regarding the Logo, I always thought too it reminded me of the swirl on the soccer jerseys and the logo on shirts and hats does not have the women inside obviously so I often wear my Polo or cap proudly, personally I like the logo.. IMHO..

Back on topic, I think it is just as well that the logo is a little cryptic. It means it can be used as sort of like a secret sign or something. The old one was more explicit what the site was about and not the sort of thing I'd want to wear on my jersey, etc. at least not among the civilian (non-monger) population. Not that I think we should be ashamed of our little hobby or anything, but it does seem to get more than its fair share of negative publicity as it is. Better we should maintain as low a profile as possible.

Exactly, I think the admins are doing a great job and trying to keep a professional profile on this site, last thing we need is a bunch of people being attracted to this site by an unprofessional logo and cause all kinds of problems.
