Can "relationship" also be defined as "a business relationship" such as paying a chica for sexual services. If so A Gringo could be arrested for paying a chica "less than she thinks she should have gotten" thereby "insulting" her. This is really scary because the guy can be held in "preventative detention for up to a year while they decide on charges.
At first glance, I didn't think too much of this article, but after a few comments here, it got me thinking. This really could be some scary sh*t! The most important question I have is -
Have they defined the word "relationship" yet?
If you flirt with a woman for a while in a bar, could that be considered a "relationship"?
If you buy a woman a drink, as you're playing 'touchy-feely' with each other, discussing details of your upcoming session with her, could that be considered a "relationship"?
If you spend an afternoon with a woman, walking around town, shopping at San Pedro Mall, having lunch, visiting a museum, etc..., could that be considered a "relationship"?
If you spend an entire evening with a woman, dinner, drinks & dancing, followed by a TLN, could that be considered a "relationship"?
If you spend a weekend at the beach with a woman, banging the sh*t out of her, 3 or 4 times a day, could that be considered a "relationship"?
Granted, these are hypathetical scenario's, and maybe I'm giving the chica's too much credit in regards to pursuing this in a legal venue. And, IMHO, if you physically abuse a woman, you deserve whatever you get. But, from a mongering perspective, could this new law actually affect us???

Definitely some food for thought...
