Post subject:  High Stakes Poker?

Gents,

I can't quite remember where or when I read something (though I know it was recent), but is it true that the Clarion now has a high stakes table or tournament?

What $$ amount exactly is considered "high stakes"? Time, days, etc etc... I am just looking for details from anyone that knows.

THANKS

Ruffnutz

I believe the biggest cash game is at the White House, the Clarion is still a 1/2 No Limit to my knowledge.

There's a high stakes game at the Fiesta near the airport.

It's remember reading it's a minimum of $1,000 buy-in, so I'm guessing they play 5/10 NL.

A "little" above my budget.

I am going to be down this weekend and will be looking to try and get a Holdem game going Saturday. Does Clarion have them all the time? Does anyone know? Thanks

There is a $1/2 cash game going daily at Clarion Amon Plaza Casino Paradiso. I think it starts about 4pm and lasts until the table breaks up.

T,
We are holding a 1-table shootout CRT tourney ($50+3 buy-in) at Sportsmens this Sunday at 5pm. We are already full, but come by, in case we have a no-show.

The Paradiso has a $150.00 buy in game Tuesday nights.
However, it has a "funny" format.... such as you get $25.00 every time you knock someone out. Naturally... at that rate the payoffs are not that good.

I'll stick to the 1/2 cash game.... it's more "fun".

Played that one of those games a few weeks ago. I didn't get the chance, but I did see many get the $25 per person knocked out. It is a $25 chip that you can cash out on if you wish. The cash output was still good as there are usually 40-50 players on those Tuesday nights....
