I can't see where it would be any problem in your checked bag just be aware that some airlines have 50 lb limit now.rbc100 |

CM Last trip, I brought a bottle of Top Shelf Vodka down you cant find in CR, packed it WELL, wrapped in a towel and a couple of shirts (was worried about breakage (you know baggage handlers)...Being plastic, as long as it is well wrapped you should not have any problems. |

I highly doubt you can get Gatorade rain considering it is only registered for the US |

If I was able to bring 2 quart mason jars of homemade maple syrup....you can bring your Gatorade. |

CR is not so backwards as one might think as far as products available, most consumer stuff is there , you may have to pay a little or a lot more for the same item though. I ended up at the mega mall in Escazu one night, anything you could ask for in a Canadian or US upper crust mall. The prices were up there, my Tica reminded me that Escazu and the mall was basically for gringos pero all I could see was mostly ticos/ticas jam packed there spending their few colonies on made in china / US marketed over priced stuff. Anyhow yes any Automercado or AM/PM will carry Gatorade. Fiedler |

Every store and some bars carry the stuff. If you gotta take it I would double bag it in a leak proof plastic bag. The rough handling and pressure could make it leak. |

On my last trip I traveled with 2 btls of Makers Mark and 4 btls of Frank Family Cab. Bubble wrap and a towel around each in a separate bag, all arrived safely. Just ask airline attendant to tag it Fragile. Yes, I have turned into a frugal traveler when it comes alcohol consumption in CR ![]() RBC, can I get a seal of approval on the aforementioned practice? ![]() ![]() |
