I just had an interesting phone call. A male seemingly Tico voice,speaking good English, called and said that his friend wanted to "date" me. I asked who he was.He said that he was a friend of Evelyn's. What would you do?

I said that I didn't know any chica named Evelyn. He said,OK and he hung up. I believe there are an unlimited number of good chicas available here in CR without taking any unnecessary chances. I am quite curious as to how he got my number.

IMO, it's not worth taking a chance of getting "scammed". It sounds kind of suspicious to me. You've got too many players in the bullpen to consider something like this. But, I'd certainly be curious as to how he got your number....

As our previously disgraced ex-President Nixon once said.. "Let me make one thing PERFECTLY CLEAR" The male voice asked me to "date" Evelyn,whom I "assume" is a female. At this point in my life,there is NO CHANCE that I am going over to the "other side". However given the fact that our membership has gone over 1100 and our readership has gone over 12,000 Admin 1 may want to consider another site called Costa Rica TICOS. Somewhere along the way,I have read statistics about percentages of the population that is gay. Hmmm, I wonder how many we have out of the 12,000.

Suppose that she has a husband or a boyfriend that is suspitious about her "working" activities and saw the number that she called from another night and decided to call and see what happened. If this is true,then my response of not knowing him or any Evelyn was just the right answer.

I think you called it right. As a American living in a foreign country, you can never be too careful with shit like this. Much more to lose than could have possibly been gained in the transaction.

I doubt seriously if this was a Tico boyfriend if he would be threatened by a man he thought "couldn't get it up".

This may work also if the word got around town to the ladies. You could make a bet with the ladies that it wasn't true. You get it for free if you function, she gets double if you can't. :lol:

I just hope that was not Pidd's She-male friend going out on him. She is probably in a dilema on which way to go.....yea, she probably picked you as the wrong gringo.

I'm really pissed because I met her before Pidd did and the bitchita never returned my calls after our afternoon of feeding the the pigeons in Parque Morazon. Two inches of manhood just does not cut it with these multiple over sexed organ ladies. Damn!!!

I just hope I can get over this.
