When I was in la Fortuna, I went on a tour to la Fortuna waterfall. It was a great tour you should be in good shape there are many stairs involved but most of the tour was via horseback $30.00 4 hours

The tour had only one other American this very annoying openly gay person from Seattle Washington, the rest for the people were from Canada, France, Germany and England.

All this person from settle wanted to do was bash America, I politely told him that I was not going to listen him bash America all day. It was all good for a wile then he starts up again and I lost it and turn into the ugly American it was a quiet tour after that. At the end of the tour, the German couple came up to me and told me that they were glad I shut him up. Was a right or wrong

I believe you were right in telling him that you were not going to put up with him bashing the United States. Hopefully all citizens of the US would not tolerate that. If he disagrees with the policies of the present administration there is a time and a place to voice that as part of our wonderful heritage is based on the principal of free speech and the right to dissent. On a tour in a foreign country is not that time or place.

Good eye ID, yes the fact that he was openly gay made him even more annoying. Yes I am sick of every time I turn on the TV or go to the movies they are throwing homosexuality in you face. Who the F cares what is sexual preference is-was as long as he was not "pushing" it on someone. An ugly asshole is an ugly asshole & I agree you all should have thrown him in the waterfall. There are no legal problems. I have heard from local lawyers that assault between two men is NOT a crime. It is treated by the Police like a hockey fight. They wait until you tire yourselves out and just scrape your up. There is no ticket and no court hearing.
