I guess you missed the Oscar Meyer thread. I've experienced this phenom the last few years, but this year I decided to keep my ass in the States and party it up with friends. If it's any consolation next week should be pretty good.

I knew it would be dead and yes it was. I was at the New York bar too, and yes, the band was hard to take and there weren't many girls to choose from, just some of the usual suspects.

On the other hand, I got 3 calls that afternoon from girls wanting to come over to provide 'company' that afternoon, so they would have some money to 'fiesta' with. I took one up on it and it made sitting around getting buzzed to the strains (an appropriate description) of the band tolerable.
