Gentlemen, I arrived Sunday, and have been touring the town. After making some observations, I went to DR yesterday afternoon for a walk through. Last night, I returned. I want to thank all of you for your tips, comments, suggestions, and the like. While tempted to bee-line for some tail, I relaxed. I sat in the bar lounge, ordered a coke, and waited. After ten minutes, and stares, a Tica approached. We chatted for some time, and I allowed her to purchase glass of wine. She was about a 5, but very nice. Her drink was reasonable. She started with a comment about the going rate at DR being cien. I told her, nicely, that my informant told me that only rich, gringo tourists pay cien. She immediately dropped to $40 for an hour. I asked for two hours, as I am stayingin La Uruca. We settled at $80 for two hours. I forget the name, but she was really nice, and I gave her another 2,000 colones for the cab ride home, since she did not want to break the U.S. money. Perhaps I should have paid her in colones. Again, thanks so much for all your information. I shall return to DR tonight. Now, with renewed confidence, I shall wait for a 7 or 8 to stop past and see what TLN goes for. Thanks, again. Dennis |

I suggest in the future you pay her "by the session" rather than the hour. She would have probably been happy for the $40 plus a $5 propina. Remember that you can find a "5" in Costa Rica sleeping in a cardboard box |

YO KC: Thanks for the plug. My management team and "crack" staff at Cardboard Inns, Inc. go out of their way to draw a better quality of lodgers. Although uncommon, we do occasionally book a chica of 4 or 5 quality.........but when we do additional perks are thrown in. CEO Circus |

Hey Circus You are welcome for the plug. However, I don't want these guys to think they can invade your space for a mere $40 per day. Does the rate include having the chica freshly bathed? |
