I heard a report of another earthquake last night at about 2am. True or false? Not as strong as earlier this week. dapanz1 |

dapanz1 I know there was a 5.0 yesterday morning about 6:30 that I felt. If there was one last night I did not feel it. |

I had my first ever earthquake in Costa Rica back in March. Sadly, I missed the whole experience because I was really drunk. When the shake hit, I remember thinking "Wo, maybe I shouldn't have had that last shot of Guaro". |

I was on the phone with a froend in Quepos and they said they just had a fairly strong earth quake or trimor. |

Another quake last night, but they said that it was not strong enough for people to notice: Early morning quake seems to have been near Heredia, according to sensors By the A.M. Costa Rica staff (November 30, 2006) A strong earthquake struck in the Heredia area shortly after midnight today. There was little information available except that the quake was felt throughout the country even on the Nicoya Peninsula. The automatic sensors of the Observatorio Vulcanológico y Sismológico de Costa Rica Showed that the greatest shock was at the Heredia station. Shocks were moderate elsewhere in the country. The quake has a duration of about 3 minutes and started about 12:07:30 a.m. But much of the earthquake was of a low magnitude and could not be felt by humans |

Yes, there was an earthquake last night. I didn't note the time but I believe it was after midnight and before 4 am. It moved my bed pretty well but nothing else made any noise or moved. Nothing like the big quake a couple of years back. |
