I went to a dozen places today and no deal. I needed a receipt every where I went and no one on site. Can anyone give me a guaranteed pharmacy or a pharmacy that won't have problems writing the script. I don't want to pay a bundle for a doctor prescription either. What is the most that I can possibly get.

If you have obvious symptoms, they may give you something without a script. For example, I broke ribs in CR on an ATV tour. I walked in and asked for Oxa Forte, which is codeine down here. They wanted a script. Then, I showed them the bruises on my rib cage and explained. Obviously, I was teeming with pain. They immediately recommended a bundle of pills. This was the farmacia across from the pres.

A lot of the pharmicies have a doctor on premises and can cut to the chase right away. Fischel is one that has a doctor in all their stores.

you can go to clinica biblica in the san pedro mall and see a doctor right away. He/She will write you a prescription on the spot. If you strike out at the farmacias, try that.

i just picked up 6 boxes of valium, 6 boxes of Oxa- Forte ( codeine) a few days ago at the pharmacy 2-3 blocks to the right of the Presidente. Been getting it there for years. I think 12 bucks for the prescription, each box is labeled so hopefully no problems, if detected.

Go see Juan Carlos at the pharmacy across the street from Calderon Guardia Hospital. He's a nice guy and he speaks fluent English. It's about 2 blocks from Sportsmens. If he's not there, they will not dispense it. The government is cracking down more on these types of drugs.

*Bring a Sportsmens business card and get 10% off.

As Thirdworld posted Fischel Farmacias have Dr. on duty in their stores. The main Fischel is located on A3 and C2 near the main post office. They, like most farmacias, will give you a 10% discount for cash.

Walk out of the Presidente, take the first left and go 2 blocks. The Pharmacy is on the left and you can get what you want. Also cheapest Levtria, Ciacis or Viagra.

If I'm unsuccessful and have to go to the clinica biblica for example, what do I tell them I have. Do I just say I have sleeping issues or anxiety issues and say I usually get valium at home? How much do the physician usually cost if I have to go that route.

Stilnox is CR's version of Ambien. It's a sleeping pill.
Valium is a sedative, a relaxer that also makes you mellow and sleepy. It's a narcotic (I think), that's why it's harder to get.

Juan Carlos (2 blocks east of SL, across the street from Hospital Calderon Guardia) has both Valium and Stilnox. A pack of Valium 25 x 5mg was 6,235¢ (~$11 w/ 10% discount).

A pack of Stilnox 10 x 10mg was 8,055¢ (~$14 w/ discount)

Sucre farmacia two blocks from the presidente has valium. They will even write you a script on the spot if you want to take some home with you. Do not take home more than a ninety day supply ( 90 pills) or you can have some trouble.
