There is a laundry place that I have used that is about three blocks away from the Presidente. I recommend using one of those large mesh laundry bags with a shoulder strap if you plan on walking there. Take a right on Ave Central when leaving the Presidente through the main entrance. Walk one block and take a right on Calle 9. Walk about two blocks downhill and you will find a laundry place on the corner. It is approximately across the street from the Ticabus station on Calle 9 and Avenida 4. Last year, they charged me about $10 for two loads of laundry. They don't speak much english there, so it will help if you speak a few words of spanish. The Presidente can also do your laundry for you, but it is much more expensive than the laundry place. |

For some reason Sixaola has not been open last couple times I've gone there, a chica working next door said she thought they may already be closed for Semana Santa.

Anyway just a note on the other place mentioned above, they have a minimum charge of 3k whether it's just a few items or a whole load (10-12 items he said), so if you just need a pair of jeans and a couple shirts done it's the same price to just let the hotel Pres. do it. |

There is a Laundromat in the arcade building across the plaza from the National Theater. It is on the lowest level and accessible from Avenida 2. |

I`m going for 2 weeks next year with Joker97 and we are planning on having the Presidente do our laundry. In might cost a little more but it doesn`t use any of our time which is more important than a little money when in SJ. |
