The attorney I had to do some research in the past is a bit busy and I have a time deadline. I contacted the number two choice on my list but the quote was apprx. 20 hours of research @ $150hr and a $3,500 retainer. I know better than this and have not countered this quote. I need some research done on a property,outstanding debts,liens,owners etc. The attorney I used last saved me a bunch of $ and pain,we went through three different so called owners before we got to the real owner on a condo. He did apprx 10-15 hours of work for $400 dollars and no retainer. Your suggestions experiences and contacts are appreciated...........thanks |

I know some ex-Facio&Canas lawyers that broke away. One of them specializes in land claims and probably the best English speaking lawyer in Costa Rica. PM if interested. |
