Some of you will remember there was a thread, in late December early January, about the effect that the new immigration law would have on "perpetual tourists". At that time I posted this: Quote: Think as we all basically reached the conclusion the last time this came up that the wisest course of action at this time is to sit tight and see how the new President and his administration seem to lean on this issue. This morning in the Tico Times there was an article that President Arias Quote: ...plans to send a bill to the Legislative Assembly that would prevent the new Immigration Law from taking effect in August and delay it for at least a year.
Sometimes taking a wait and see approach is the wisest choice. |
