November is the change over month from the rainy season to the dry season. It is alot better than sept or oct as these are the rainiest months. Expect some rain with less humidity and cooler than the preceding months. A good time to visit. |

DPH55, As Zman has stated, November is kind of a 'transitional' month. Regarding the rain, it could go either way. I have been in CR (in November) in 2004 and 2005. On my November, 2004 trip, it only rained once (for about 45 minutes) during my entire 5 day trip. It was real nice, but it was real hot at the beach. That trip, I was hoping for some rain! But, during my November 2005 trip, it was raining when I got off the plane, and it was STILL raining when I got back ON the plane to go home, 5 days later. It literally was raining the entire time. Once in a while, you'd get a break in the clouds, but it was short-lived. Regardless of the weather......IMHO, it's still better being in CR while it's raining, than being home, thinking about CR! Just keep in mind, that November is the very beginning of the busy season in CR, so you might want to book your flight and hotel ahead of time. I wonder what the weather's gonna be like for my trip in November, 2006 ?!?!? ![]() Have a great time. Mucho Gusto ![]() |

I was going to book my hotel and plane but wanted to find out if I need to be concerned about having air conditioning in my room. I think to be on the safe side I'll make sure I get a/c. Thanks for the input. dph55 |
