I have offered to buy a friend of mine a ticket to CR. He has never been and insist we would have a better time in boystown, Mexico. For those of you who have been to boystown, what are your thoughts. Im very pleased with the ticas and columbians of CR as far as their looks, cleanliness, attitude , peformance etc..I need some info to respond.TIA, Raw

You're paying for the ticket to CR, but he insists on a different destination ???

IMHO, you should just tell him that you'll pay for his ticket to CR, and then (after you guys return from CR) he can pay for your ticket to Boystown...... that is...if he still wants to go! Ya never know...it might work!

This is a long shot but you might also tell him there are actually things to do in Costa Rica NOT connected to chasing women. It's a REAL vacation, not just a night or two in a border town bar.

As far as comparing the women, there is no comparison. Ask him how many Ticas, Colombianas, Nicas, Dominicanas or Panamanians he's met at Boystown?

Wits on target here; Boystown (La Zona in Nuevo Laredo) lacks diversity.

And San Jose is a much more interesting little city, not to mention the rest of Costa Rica.

Other than that, the P4P scene is comparable, more or less, with the advantage to San Jose on selection and convenience. For example, Boystown doesn't get going until the evening; it's not so convenient to arrange for action during the day (no Zona Blue or New Fantasy or Oasis).

How about this: do both destinations and write us up a fresh comparison.

The Mexican side of Laredo is not the safest in the world anymore. CR pales in comparison to the dangers in Nuevo Laredo. I was there in 91 and it was OK, cheap but the diversity of women in CR is far better. The women in CR are far better looking in my opinion. Wit is right there is sllot more thing in CR to do outside of monger.

Anyone know what the prices are in NL now. I knew so little Spanish in 91 that I thought the senoritas gave me a nick name trienta cinco. My friends called me treinta cinco for years.

Mexico can't hold a candle to CR in any of many various categories. The cost of the travel for me is quite a bit more to CR since I am only six hours from the border and know my way around Acuna very well and have had experience in Nuevo Laredo and Reynosa and Piedras Negras. Aside from the cost of getting there and back the prices in Mexico are if anything, a little higher than CR if you use the same spanish that works in both places and the quality and selection is much less than CR. The last run I made to Mexico, I was very disappointed. The best girls I knew and counted on seeing had disappeared and I couldn't find out where they went. It would appear that the business had dropped off significantly and they had moved on in search of greener wallets. Guys were going to the boystown establishments but were not turning loose of their cash for anything beyond drinks and table dances. The chicas were in the dumps.
I will still go to Mexico since it is so convenient to Houston, but when I want dessert, I will go to the airport and head for SJO.

I'm taking my 1st trip to Mexico at the end of July, with all expenses being picked up by a friend. I'll be going to Cabo San Lucas for 4 days. I don't have much spare time this summer, but since the trip is free, I couldn't pass it up.

I'm sneaking this trip in between:
- my trip to CR in early July
- a Bahama's trip in mid-July
- another Bahama's trip in mid-August
- and the CR Labor Day trip, end of August.

I was hoping it would be a 'monger-friendly' type of place. But if not, no worries. I'll be getting plenty of luvin' elsewhere! NEXT !!!

I guess we'll have to see what happens.

It's been many years since I was in Boystown. CR is 10,000% better...not even in the same league. I agree, once you go to CR you won't go back to Mexico!!!

Once he goes to CR he will definetly change his mind. As I have been to both many times I can say I will never return to Neuvo Laredo(sp)

I have yet to visit boystown but being in Texas sometimes I sneak a trip in to the border. I prefer Juarez across form El Paso as I can get cheap tickets on Southwest. It is nowhere close to CR but can be a fun weekend. The advantage is there are some daytime MP's but hear Boystown has little if any daytime action. No US border town comes close to CR.rbc100

Okay, one time in Boystown......

No seriously, one time I went to the one across the border from McAllen, by myself, none the less; dangerous and not too smart, but I was young, dumb and etc. A mega waste of time as I had tospend all the time watching my back, it was hard to have a good time.

The second time, I went to the boystown accross the border from Laredo in Nuevo Laredo after a hunting trip. It was New Years and most of the working girls took the night off, again, a waste of time. CR is at least one hundred times better in terms of amount and quality of women, entertainment, food, you name it.

There is no comparision what so ever! Boystown is a old dirty walled area near Laredo that saw is better days 25 years ago. We visted about 1 year ago and it has gone way down, not to mention the unsafe environment & total decline of the streets & buildings! Since that time, the recent killings & drug wars have driven many of the girls away....also the customers.

CR(San Jose) was always a better palce to vsit & still is. However, if you really want a great trip go to Buenos Aires!

I offered to fly 2 friends down to CR for Labor Day, and they both declined.

They just dont understand what all the hype is, and they have that hollywood hooker mentality, you know the ones from Chicago that you wouldnt want to be on the same street as.

Its hard to explain to them that some of the hottest girls in the country work in these places, but then they go on their speel about how no good looking girls would do that kind of stuff.

I have the same problem with my single stateside friends. They are more willing to go to Vegas or Amsterdam. WTF... a weekend in vegas - 2 days can cost $2k. That is easily 7 days in CR.

They just don't understand. I try to explain that the major difference is the rules are totally lose and the chicas are hot. You can find a girl that asks for money. You can find a girl that doesn't ask for money. You can hang with them at the beach. You can play pool with them. You can party with them. They love that shit.

Getting laid in Vegas or Amsterdam is similiar to going to the dentist. Not my cup of tea. 15 minutes. You are in and out. Its a waste of money. I'd rather jerk it to a porno flick.
