Here's another resource. It includes an audio file that I recorded to help people hear how to pronounce them.

Could be my lack of mongering experience, but some of those words seem a bit off the normal Spanish usage. For example, I have always heard the word "lengua" for tongue. I looked up "lengüeta" in the very-good Spanish-English on line dictionary at
http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/reference/dict_en_es/
and it says lengüeta means the tongue of a SHOE! I am not trying to be critical, and I am certainly no Spanish language expert, but just did not want anyone to be laughed at if they asked to be kissed by a shoe.

The correct word will be "lenguita", it means delicious tongue in the Tico language.

You get more flies with honey

is better to say: .......lenguita.......

than .............lengua..............

I am native speaker of Tico Language residing in Tx

Thanks Sabado6. That makes sense, with the Costa Rican proclivity toward using diminuatives. Lenguita is sorta like saying "cute little tongue", right?

You don't want to sound vulgar, then you say: " me besas con lenguita las bolas" , meaning kiss my balls with your cutie and delicious tongue ", she'll appreciated it better.

Post subject:  Slang changes, but correct textbook Spanish survives

I sometimes wonder about the usefulness of learning slang in any foreign language.

Slang changes very rapidly. Some things, like "picha" for di*k, or panocha for pu$sy won't change much, but I'd be afraid to learn slang which might be out of date.

Think how funny it would be if a non-English speaker came up to you and said, "Wow. That's the bee's knees! Twenty-three skidoo....groovy man. Cop me a fag." You get the idea.

Proper textbook Spanish is probably better IMHO. Yes, it's nice to throw out some slang once in awhile. For instance, I got a very positive reaction when I asked a lady if she had her "chunches." (stuff), meaning did she have all her things and was she ready to go. But for the most part, I think I'll stick with the textbook Spanish.
