I wanted to see if there was any interest by the guys down here next week for a poker get together at Casa Vino. Casa Vino is right next door to the Amon Plaza. When I say Poker, I mean everything without wild cards and absolutely no Texas Hold-em. I am thinking about a game of seven card stud, no pick, five card draw and those types of assorted games. I wll provide the beer and you bring your own hard liquor. I am looking at the dates of March 28 - 30, Tuesday through Thursday, with either an evening game or a day game.

I would want to have at least seven people and the game would be of the quarter, fifty cents, one dollar type with three raises. I do have enough room for more. In other words, a friendly game where you would win or lose $20-40 over a three or four hour span. I have a set of chips.

Tentatively, I would like to have the game on Tuesday, March 28 starting at 5:00PM. I figure we could play until about 11:00PM and then head out to Kamur or somewhere else. I will provide the beer and you bring any other type liquor that you want.

So far, with Maboman and his friends, we would have five players. I would like to get more and, if we have enough players, we will have two games going. At that point, I would bring in some dancers and have a show or two. Maybe, even, give away a few BJs.

Can't make it down. How about Memorial weekend.

I can't make it either, but I would play if I could.

Memorial Day could work for me. I'd sit for about 3 hours and play a few hands. Not much longer than 3 hours though. I can't waste too much time playing poker in one weekend (in CR for Christ's sake).

I haven't played 7-card Stud in forever, that's where I started my addiction.

I bumped this up because it is now closer to the 28th and maybe some people can commit better. With Maboman and his two buds, my brother and I, and LVSteve, we will have the game. Please reconfirm with me as I know that last minute changes happen.

I would like to invite everyone to come over and have a beer or two on us and meet us. We are only right up the street from the Amon Plaza and it is convenient to get taxis back and forth or it is a short walk.

Directions. Coming out of the Amon Plaza take a left on the same side of the street. We are up about 100 feet and across from the yellow building which is the Dunn Hotel. The number on the door is 503.
