I am often asked for tips on how to negotiate a better price from the chicas at the DR and KL. Here is what happened to me on Friday night. Around 9pm I walked over to KL from DR to look for Drillem. Even though it was still early for the place,I spotted a cute little flaca sitting by herself near the buffet. She smiled and so did I.I asked if she would join me for a drink at the bar,especially since I had never seen her before. (usually means new and untainted by previous success) I was correct in that it was her second time out,and she struck out the first time. When I got to the "how much to come to my house in Escazu,"I put my arms in front of my face as to shield myself from the answer. As I took my arms down she laughed (a good tension breaker) and gave the obligatory $100 answer. My response was a simple,polite "no". After about 8 seconds of silence she then said $50? I immediately said "yes" We finished our beers and left for a few hours of really nice fun. So there is the lesson for today gentlemen. lol All you need to know is yes and no,or if yo want to be fancy and speak Spanish,it's si and no. lol |
