I am just wrapping up my first visit here.....luckily my flight connection in Newark was cancelled due to snow so my visit was extended two days. This place is truely amazing and the people are too. I bought a lot in a small town near the Osa Peninsula called Sierpe where the people are friendly, the pace is slow and the river is full of fish! This land is where I will die!

Another Gringo bites the dust. Welcome to CR. Please don't tell all your friends though, because it's getting crowded here.

Hey guys...
Can you see it now? It's so easy to accept the fact that CR IS indeed the "Paradise" many of us have been looking for.
Growing old in the States has become too grueling of a process.
I want to enjoy all the years I have left in the most wonderful way possible... and that seems to be very possible in CR.
And it didn't take all of the 48 hours I was there to decide that being as similar to Puerto Rico but yet so less expensive I would be a fool to chose PR. Sorry family, but I'm going to CR when the time is right.
And if the cost of living wasn't enough reason, there are all those Ticas running around. I'll probably end up like a dog running after a car. Have you ever wondered? what's he going to do if he ever catches it?
I only hope that after I turn 80 and older, if I do catch up with one I'll be able to figure out something to do with her.
Good luck Beatledawg!
I'll be in touch with you soon to talk about Real Estate.

I am!!! going slow Mikey. If I was speeding up I would have stayed in CR right after the SB. My son would've received a phone call instructing him to keep all my possessions. I might've wanted my Jazz CD collection and my golf sticks... other than that he could've kept it all.
But, I did have to return to finish a mission I started on last August.
   BUT I am thinking indeed about this three day weekend
