I was there in 2005 . The Re max realtor from Liberia was very helpful and showed me around. If I were married I would seriously consider it. There were some nice condos for $350k.

But beware of a few things:

- The beaches there are really not that nice ( good for surfing but not very scenic). Nothing compared to Manual Antonio.

- The boom is over at least for now

- The area is hot, dry and dusty in the summer. I heard that the aquifer is already being overtaxed and that there may be water supply problems in the future.

Do you think those sucked in by the real estate agents from '03 to the present are thinking very kindly about those agents this week? And the hurricane season hasn't even officially started yet. Can you say "due diligence"?
