OK I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport enjoying a bloody mary ($10.00 or 5000 colones). The flight from WV at 5:30 am was uneventful and the talent on the plan was somewhat lacking (practicing for my trip report). I only got about and hour and half of sleep last night. I am totally psyched fir this trip thanks to you guys and this site.Xman

I have just returned from a late-night at Pantera Rosa. How do you say "I've been violated" in espanol? Here are the results: 1st- Xman 2nd- Orange 3rd- Dave Goober- Hand-Solo Thanks to everybody who showed up, the 12 no-shows will be dealt with later (just kidding), overall I thought it was a great night. Especially because I took second. XMan you lucky bitch, that river saved your ass. Nah, you played well. I will give you props, you earned it. We had 20 players. Payout breakdown: 20 players X 20K colones = 400K pot 400K-45K for dealers (15K each) = 355K total prize pool. 1st (60%) = 213K ($426) + $100 = $526 + free zona blue session 2nd (25%) = 89K ($178) + $50 = $228 3rd (15%) = 53K = $106 See you Memorial Day for SB Poker Open #4 (if Taca lowers their fares).

I tried to lose so I could leave with the Chica I enjoyed ploaying with you Orange but I had you before the river Anyway the whole event was a good time and a worth while cause I hope to spend a good bit of time with the rest of you. Thanks for those who actually showed up (just kidding). I need to give special thanks to a few people who helped make the tourney a sucess. If I forgot anyone, I apologize, post-CR depression is kicking in, very mild this time though. As far as my hernia surgery, thanks for the good thoughts. No, I didn't get it from too much phucking in CR , I got it a few days before my trip from working out, but I wasn't missing it. It only slowed me down, didn't completely ruin it for me. I'll make up for it in May. Xman, you played strong, especially at the end, you deserved to win. But I had you outkicked the last hand until you caught the second pair on the river. Mikey-B, you played well but I just think you got cold cards at the end. Dave, you also played very well, making some strong all-in bets at the end until Xman took you out and took your 10K bounty.
